Downloading original xbox games on the 360. Hello. I payed and downloaded starwars battlefront 2 (2005) and it had no mention of a 360 hard drive on the page before downloading, I proceeded to download the game and when I opened the game it came up with a message saying that i need a xbox360 hard drive to play the game. I am very angry at this
Depends on the game. 480i looks superb on a CRT. 480p looks great too, but also significantly darkens the image for certain games (Halo: CE). CRTs will naturally hide a lot of the aliasing present in games as well thanks to scanlines - what the Xbox was designed for.
Kinect-based games not working on the Series X is unlikely to surprise anyone. Despite the motion-sensing device being a big focus for Microsoft when it first launched for the Xbox 360, it never

Since Xbox 360 died like half a decade ago it's safe to say there won't be another one from Microsoft. Probably not from the homebrew community either. From Microsoft's standpoint they just stopped doing b/c for Xbox 360 games on Xbox One, so it makes no sense that they would do some new update for compatibility on Xbox 360 for Xbox games.

Ok, let me clear one thing up first. WD are NOT, I repeat, are NOT the only drives that work with the 360! From the factory Microsoft ships all sorts of hard drive brands. WD drives are the most popular third-party drive which CAN be flashed to work with the 36

Once purchased, you can always redownload these games or any other previously purchased games from your Xbox 360 Download History. Although trying to find things in the Xbox 360 Download History is a gigantic pain in the ass.

changed Freestyle Dash to Aurora. set up paths for Xbox 360 and Xbox Classic Games. set up Aurora Crash Patcher Plugin for startup - had issues downloading cover art for games. set up Xbox Compatibility Fixer. copied Compatibility folder to HddX: Partition - version with guide menu support. Problem is whenever i try to launch game from disc The best/only feasible way to do it is to JTAG/RGH the 360 so you can install the updated Xbox emulator files and run the games from HDD. Put it on your HDD in folder format. That's how you copy the game via disc.
From a web-source it states: "The Xbox Series X and S are backward compatible with almost every native Xbox One game, 568 Xbox 360 games, and 39 original Xbox games. The only Xbox One titles that won’t work on the Xbox Series are those that require Kinect, as the Kinect is no longer supported."
Original Xbox games cannot be stored on a USB flash drive. Note that the minimum size is 1GB and that 512MB of the device will be unusable as it will be reserved for System use. To use USB storage, you'll either need the recommended preconfigurered Xbox 360 branded SanDisk USB flash drive, or you'll need to configure your own USB.
Much easier to buy official HDDs. easier for sure, but not cheaper. the official 500GB drive is currently $110 on amazon. meanwhile, a bare 500GB WD 2.5" drive is only $48 delivered, and a proper enclosure is $6 delivered . So you can spend $110 and be good to go right out of the box, or you can do some work on your end and have the same thing

Yet I am not able to play them. I have searched all over the web, I haven't found a solution to this issue because it doesn't appear to be common.
